In this session, I will explain how to use the standard and custom Business Central connectors in PowerApps and Power Automate. I will build from scratch each of the user cases I introduce and provide guidance on some of the in built features for both products. Power Platform offers the ability to build, test, and deploy rapidly and can provide a stripped back user experience which is a great thing to have as an option for overall system solutions.

LEVEL: Intermediate. Dynamics 365 Business Central features emit telemetry data of your tenant to Azure Application Insights service. Azure Application Insights is the fundamental service to monitor azure resources, detect anomalies, and provide insights on daily business activities. In this session we’ll explore Azure Application Insights features, we’ll see how to analyze your Dynamics 365 Business Central telemetry data with tools like Azure Data Studio and Jupyter Notebooks.

Business Central has more and more connections and usage scenarios for additional Azure services. That means that you might go to Business Central SaaS and with that move away from maintaining infrastructure while at the same time the need to create additional infrastructure (in the sense of IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS) arises. In this session, you will see one possible approach to easily deploy and maintain that kind of infrastructure by using IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles.
